Top 5 Guilty Pleasures

Everyone has some guilty pleasures; it’s just a fact of life. However, there are a few that almost every girl is “guilty” of (yes, this pun is intentional), and it’s time to own it. Guilty pleasures bring a little more spice into your life, and these are the Top 5 that spice up mine.

1. Reality T.V.

If you know me, you know Reality T.V. is my go-to when I’m in the mood for some drama and some laughter. I've been obsessed since I started watching Dance Moms in 2nd grade and got my entire family hooked on it too. Reality T.V. is so undeniably entertaining, and that’s just #FACTS. The drama, tears, romance, craziness, how can you say no? You can't, and neither can I. Currently, my favorite Reality T.V. show is 90 Day Fiance on TLC. If you don’t know what that is and you love Reality T.V., you need to know! I watch it every Sunday with my family and we are all obsessed and look forward to it every single week. If you enjoy Reality T.V. as much as I do, here are some of my favorite and highly recommended Reality T.V. shows

2. Sweets

As I've mentioned before, I love all things chocolate, especially Nutella. Although some people really don't care for sweets (I will never understand this), most people enjoy having a sweet dessert or mid-day snack if they're really craving (no judgment). I try to live a "healthier" lifestyle, but sometimes I just can't resist. These are some of my top favorite sweets to eat daily or on special occasions.

  • Chocolate-covered strawberries

  • Chocolate Chip cookies

  • Gelato/Ice Cream

  • Marble cake

  • Cupcakes (red velvet and funfetti are my favorites)

  • Banana bread

  • Bread pudding

3. Small decorations:

I am a sucker when it comes to small little nooks and decorations. I strongly believe that something so subtle can elevate your aesthetic or decor to a whole other level! I am a very festive person, so I absolutely love buying small decorations for my room/house for the seasons and different holidays. When I was younger, I used to put jelly stickers on a big window for every holiday, even on my birthday. If you’re feeling up to it, here are some cute ideas to make your room/home a bit more festive all year round.

4. Celebrity Gossip

Trust me, I know all the celebrity tea. Since I was a young girl, probably about 6 or 7 years old, I’ve had an obsession with celebrities. I've always been interested to know about their lifestyles, relationship status, fashion sense, music taste, basically everything and anything I could read about them, I would. Sometimes, I feel bad for getting into all the gossip because I know that half of it is not true, and celebrities are publicly belittled for entertainment for people like me, which is really not ok. So, I try to not pay too much attention to celebrity tea, but if I’m being honest, there are times when I cannot resist. My favorite way to find out the latest news on different celebrities is E! News ‘The Rundown’ on Snapchat. The host, Erin Lim, is the best! She’s super relatable, funny, and has THE BEST content. Even if you’re not into celebrity drama, I would still recommend watching ‘The Rundown’ because of the quality content and overall vibe.

5. Car Jam Sessions

Windows down. Music up. Wind in my hair. And suddenly, I’m performing for a crowd of millions, like I'm the newest Ariana Grande. But let’s be real here, I know I am not the only one. We all love a good jam sesh in the car, either alone or with friends, doesn’t matter. Having fake “music videos” or singing at the top of my lungs in the car is definitely one of my guiltiest pleasures. Sometimes I go way too full out in the car and people have probably noticed me and laughed. But, that’s ok. When you’re into the music, there’s really no coming back… at least for me.
